God Supports your leadership | By Kenny Guzman

(Joshua 1: 1-9)

The prophet Moses was dead, and the work of Moses had been delegated to Josue. Josue was a leader from an early age by command of God given to Moses was chosen to lead a people.

Why was Josue chosen to lead?

· He was a man of vision

· He was a man of decision and determination

· He knew the needs of the people

· He was not independent, he knew how to suggest to his authority that he was Moses.

· He was always with Moses, learning from Moses' side.

· He was a great disciple which made him a great leader.

Today, our job is to be good sheep, good disciples of our leaders. By being close to them, welcoming the advice they give us, and learning to listen to them, we learn more about what the life of a leader is, we learn and begin to prepare ourselves to become a leader and continue with the legacy o the task that will later be entrusted to us. A good leader has to learn to be a good disciple first and foremost. Moses' job was to remove the people of Israel from the chains that bound them with the people of Egypt, but nevertheless, Josue's job was to continue leading the people to bring them to the promised land.

Leaders today can help us feed the new sheep that we can earn, but our job is to continue good food and keep that sheep healthy so that it does not die. Take it to the place and the position where it corresponds.

When we grow in the ministry, when we grow in the ways of God that we are already given a task, that moment where we can already walk by ourselves, we can already eat by ourselves, we can already walk, run and do everything by ourselves. , that precise moment of growth, that moment where we are already leaders, is the moment where God supports us. The moment when God reminds us that we are not alone, that we could have risen to a higher level but that does not give us the right to think that we are alone.

Precisely that moment when the leaders are no longer so present in our lives, just as Moses was not in Josue's, God had to come and remind Josue that he did not have to be afraid, God told him: "I have given you , as I had said to Moses, every place that will tread on the sole of your foot. ”

It means that God did not leave Josue at any time. Maybe your fear is that you are afraid to stay alone once you are made boss in your work, you are afraid of having greater responsibilities, you are afraid that maybe those who will be your underlings, who will be below you, maybe they will not respect you, maybe the sheep that are handed over to you to lead are afraid that they will go astray, you are afraid that you will feel alone @ for the simple fact that you don't know what can happen.

Tonight I have to tell you: "As I was with Moses so I will be with you" God said to Josue. As God was with your leaders, as God has endorsed your leaders, as God has endorsed your leaders, so will God endorse you in your leadership.

Do not fear, because God is with you, do not be discouraged because you have a God who strives you, God will always help you, he will sustain you with the right hand of his Justice. (Isaiah 41:10)

The thing is this, when we become leaders, when God launches us to a higher level, which begins to prepare us, it is like when you go to war, you do not go but are prepared, you do not go without a luggage. God prepares us before we rise to a higher level of Glory. God gives us the key to do well. To Josue he said: "This book of the law will never depart from your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night, so that it may keep and do according to all that is written in it, because then you will prosper your way , and everything will be fine for you. ”

The key my brothers, is to never stray from the word of God, never never abandon prayer, never abandon the reading of his word. In this small but very large book we find the answers to our biggest questions. We are only an opening from the word to realize it. God will never take away his sight, his ear, his care from us but we can take off the armor by which God equipped us for war.

Let's be Brave, a cowardly person cannot be a leader. If God chose us to be more than sheep, it is because he deposited everything necessary within us so that we can be victorious in whatever the situation. But first we must learn to be good disciples and it is then that we can really be great leaders.

God bless you,
With love,
Kenny
